About Us

Located in Quincy, IL, Hetzler & Associates is staffed with professionals with over 30 years of experience. We provide a wide variety of community-based services to children, families, and their caregivers. We believe that treatment is a parallel process, as we address the need for healing in the entire family unit when necessary.

Our office provides a safe and welcoming environment to help clients feel comfortable and at ease. Providing a warm and authentic space can be instrumental in the effectiveness and participation in treatment & services.

Clairice Hetzler

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtaining my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. Formerly the Executive Director of the Advocacy Network for Children, I advocated for & supported children and families as they experienced traumatic, life-changing events. I assist in identifying multiple resources and needs in our community, so that families feel confident in overcoming adverse situations, and regaining their lives back.

In collaboration with Cindy Eddy-Vahle, we started The Eve Project, a Partner Abuse Intervention Program for Women. We also provide Hope & Healing support groups to children and their caregivers who have been victims of trauma, at no cost.

Additionally, in a joint effort with courts in the surrounding areas, we offer supervised visitation services to educate and reunite healthy families. I have served on the Board of Directors for multiple local agencies and continue to partner with them in driving accessibility to care for each and every individual. My husband and I are active members in our church, and in my spare time I enjoy the company of my 4 children and 10 grandchildren. I believe that there are times when we require the nurturing care of someone to come along side and assist us with the tools we need to adjust to changes in our lives. I believe that Hetzler & Associates can be that sustainable resource in your care.
